Meet the Doctor

Dr. Don Ammon is a licensed Chiropractor serving the Dallas community.

Dr. Don Ammon has been freeing people from pain in his clinic in Dallas, TX. As a Chiropractor with experience, Dr. Ammon is committed to promoting the health and well being of his patients.

Dr. Ammon uses a "whole person". This approach to wellness means looking for underlying causes of any disturbance or disruption (which may or may not be causing symptoms at the time) and make whatever interventions and lifestyle adjustments that would optimize the conditions for normal function. Using this unique approach, Dr. Ammon is able to help you to accelerate and/or maintain your journey to good health.

More about Dr. Don Ammon

Dr. Ammon was born in Clinton, Iowa. He attended Mediapolis High School where he was awarded a varsity letters in cross country, track and wrestling.  He was a member of the Who’s Who Among High School Students, National Honor Society, Science Club and Thespians.  While attending Iowa Wesleyan College, Dr. Ammon achieved varsity letters in cross country while obtaining his Bachelors degree in Physical Education.  He continued his education at the University of Northern Iowa obtaining Masters credit hours in Exercise Physiology with an emphasis in rehabilitation.  At the University of Northern Iowa, Dr. Ammon worked as a teaching assistant in the human performance laboratory and received grants for his research on creatine metabolism.  Dr. Ammon obtained his Doctorate of Chiropractic at Palmer Chiropractic College in Davenport, Iowa.  At Palmer Chiropractic College, he worked as a teaching assistant for Microbiology and the Physical Diagnosis department.  After graduating from Palmer Chiropractic College, Dr. Ammon acquired a diversity of skills working in different states and countries.  Over the years, he has been associated with the American College of Sports Medicine, United States Air Force, hospitals, health departments, and various physicians’ offices. 

Dr. Ammon’s priority is to influence the body’s innate ability to heal itself.  Through the knowledge of chiropractic and physiology, Dr. Ammon releases the body’s full potential for the optimal healing process to take place.  Dr. Ammon takes the time for each patient to learn what it takes to continue to live a healthy life after treatment is complete.  He strives to teach his patients about strength and balance exercises to ensure proper healing continues and the nutritional aspect to ensure the body doesn’t break down with the stresses of life.
